This scarf worked up in a couple of hours. I used Red Heart Super Saver yarn in Buff. I will make a hat to match and also experiment with other colors and hooks. Very easy - about 2 hours to make. I started this on the way to my niece's graduation. Visit my Ravelry page to get the free pattern.

A Few More Hats & Scarves Completed This Week
These are 3 sets that I completed this week. All very fast! No more than 2 hours to complete each set. The hat patterns are my own, but the scarf pattern came from http://www.christinascrochethaven.com/doublestrand_scarf.htm and I adjusted the hook and yarn to get different effects - it is a great way to use up those stray skeins or leftovers.

Rainbow Bright Hat, Scarf, and Mittens
I made this set today and it will be a Christmas gift for one of my nieces. It came out really nice. The hat is my own pattern, the scarf is a free pattern from http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/ and the mittens are a free crochet pattern from Bev's Country Cottage - http://www.bevscountrycottage.com/. It took about an hour to make the scarf and a half-hour for the hat and about 2 hours for the mittens. I used Red Heart Super Saver in Starbrights for the mittens and the same color doubled up with LionBrand Bundle of Love in purple for the hat and scarf.

Lacy Scarf & Hat
I absolutely love this hat and scarf - the purple and beige is very eye-catching. It is a Christmas present for my nephew's girlfriend and it is absolutely perfect for her! The scarf pattern was a free pattern and the scarf is extra long and you can wrap it around your neck or up over your head. The hat pattern is my own design with a v-stitch to match the scarf.
It is crocheted with Vanna's Choice purple and beige. There is enough yarn left to make a pair of mittens to match or make 2 more hats. I bought the 7oz skeins at Walmart for $6 each.
Dishcloths Galore!
When I cannot decide what to work on.....I crochet dishcloths. They are great for gifts - as washcloths as well - the kids love them! Today I realized I had a HUGE stack of them and decided to count them....68 of them! I think I am ready to buy some matching towels and have my Christmas gifts ready to go!
There are various patterns and colors - from neutrals to really fun vibrant colors. All are crocheted in cotton yarns by Lily, Coats-n-Clark, and Bernat. I love Bernat's new country colors I bought recently, but I have not crocheted any cloths with it yet. I will post when I do!
Teen/Women's Hat and Scarf
The hat is my own pattern and the scarf is a free crochet pattern from Joanne's, but is also located on http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/. I used Vanna's Choice - a 6 oz skein made both the hat and scarf for a cost of only $6. This yarn is so soft and wonderful to work with! I purchased it at Walmart.
Toddler Hat & Scarf
The hat is my own design and the scarf was from a pattern on http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/. I crocheted this using Simply Soft and Bernat Baby Coordinates in purple. It worked up very quickly - hat and scarf in 3 hours. This is just so soft and cute - probably will fit a 2-3 year old.
Puffy Baby Blanket
I made this for a friend who is expecting her first grandchild - a little girl. I used LionBrand Pound of Love in pink and ivory. This works up so quickly (about 3-4 hours) and is softer than you can imagine. This was a free pattern from http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/ -
