Scarf Crazy!!

I decided to start using up all of my odds and ends of yarn and what better item to make than scarves? They are great to have on hand for Christmas gifts or any last minute gift for that matter. This was just a simple double crochet patter that I was experimenting with. I used three strands of yarn - 2 strands of worsted weight and 1 strand of bulky. For the bulky yarn I used Lion Brand Boucle that I purchased at Job Lot for $1 a skein. The large scarves used about 2 ounces each of the worsted weight and 2 skeins of the boucle. It took about 45 minutes per scarf to complete. I made a total of 12 over the last 2 weeks. These are just a few samples!
